Our Story

A community keeping Australia's maritime story alive.

The Victorian Maritime Centre at Crib Point is dedicated to preserving Australia's rich naval and merchant marine history. Our exhibits, ships and the Duncan MacKinnon Library are looked after by dedicated volunteers — together we make sure every visitor leaves with a deeper appreciation of the men, women and vessels who shaped the nation.

We're proudly part of the Western Port community. Local clubs, schools and groups make us part of their annual itineraries — and we welcome new visitors every weekend.
